Should Auld Acquaintance be Forgot...
Yes, I have been away from my blog for many months... Many things have changed, haven't they? Zogby is polling Kerry ahead of Dean in Iowa, I've been making calls in Iowa and New Hampshire, my 2 great-nieces have moved in while their mom is deployed first to Germany and then Iraq. - whew! 2004 has started off fast and furious!
I've been to 2 Kerry fundraisers here in DC, and although my mommy-for-2-years duties will take me away from actively participating in MeetUps and such, I will be out there for the Maryland primary, part of "Super Tuesday."
I really like Kerry as a fighter, rather than being ahead and taking all the pot shots. So, good for Dean - let him get all bloody and beat up, while Kerry concentrates on the issues and getting his ideas across to folks around the country.
So, I will keep donating what little I can, whenever I can, to help the Kerry campaign steam on through til the primary!
