Post-Debate notes
I haven't been here in a while...
Watched the debate last night - JK had a great showing - best remark: Well, you'll have to wait for the Kerry Gone Wild video to come out. Good one, John!
Second-best remark was from Joe Lieberman: No one's called me Bush-light since Gen. Clark has announced...
Al Sharpton was witty as usual, but his bark always contains a bite - his comments about bringing back the Democratic Party to its home base were right on target.
This CBC-sponsored event seemed much more disciplined than the one I attended in Baltimore last month. LaRouche people (LaRoaches, as I call them) kept popping up and screaming at Joe - too much. I told them all afterward to go protest Bush events, but alas, the Secret Service is not allowing ANYONE to protest too close to Dubbya. Bad Press? Hmmm... Ask Rep. Sherrod Brown, who was asked to move his group further down the road from Dubbya's Labor Day mis-statement at the Operating Engineers training facility in Ohio. What a crock of poop!
That's it for now - I'm at work, so the Hatch Act is in effect - well, let's call this my lunch.
Ciao for now!
