Don't let the Bush CREEPs win!
From Reuters today:
"Bush's re-election campaign has detailed plans, based on complicated mathematical formulas, to send the president and his allies to key markets with specific attacks against Kerry. For example, if polling shows that Philadelphia's suburbs respond to Bush calling the Democrat's health care plan a government takeover, he will be sent there with that point inserted into his stump speech.
Bush's team has the markets and messages planned to the final hours of Election Day. In contrast to 2000, when Bush essentially coasted with a series of get-out-the-vote rallies, he will criticize Kerry relentlessly until the end, advisers said.
And, unlike four years ago, they are saving some attack material until the closing few days."
Already the attacks are starting up strong again - do we know what they are "saving"? Does the Kerry campaign know? They're already tampering with registration forms and absentee ballots.
Come ON!
Do we Democrats have the same kind of strategy? We cannot allow the Pachyderms to overthrow our chances in this last week and a half. Let's make sure that Kerry has the tools to win on November 2! This IS the most important election of our lifetimes.
Don't let the new CREEPs (Committee to Re-Elect the President - remember THEM?) take over the election! Be vigilant! Write your editor, post to national blogs, sneak into Bush rallies (what the hell is he doing in New Jersey?!?).
My tactic? I talk to people on the bus, on the train, in restaurants, on the street, in lines at the grocery store, and when I peg some Repugnantcans, I find a good Democrat and start talking about all the Bush lies in front of them. Do the same thing - carry a list of Bush lies (you can download stuff from www.johnkerry.com, or www.factcheck.org), WEAR KERRY GEAR, or ANTI-BUSH GEAR, and and just be loud and PROUD!

Less than a Month to Save Our Country!
Well, the second of three debates have passed, and what do you think? Kerry won both, and I give John Edwards the win on the VP debate. The next debate is on Wednesday, Oct. 13, in Arizona, where the topic will be on domestic issues.
And what about that comment that Dubbya owns a timber company?
Here's the 'Page from Bush's 2003 financial disclosure form, showing he owns 50% of a company formed "for the purpose of the production of trees for commercial sales." '
So he can get some cheap laughs, but at the expense of our environment? Shame on him!
Check out www.factcheck.org, where they're fairly unbiased about who's making mistakes about what. They even ping Kerry, but if you look closely, his statements are much more factual than Bush's. Everyone exaggerates on the campaign trail, but Kerry truly states the facts as he knows them, not some BS made up on the cuff.
Did you see the claim that for the first debate Bush was wired so he could get answers from his "trainers"? I don't think it's true, because he would have come off much better informed, rather than the knee-jerk reactionist he really is.
And what about the Duelfer Report: http://www.cia.gov/cia/reports/iraq_wmd_2004/?
Read it for yourself; Bush is now backtracking and making up even MORE insidious excuses for going to war with Iraq. He really sucks; I have to say that!
I saw a term for people who just "follow the leader" without thinking for themselves: Sheeple. We saw it in 2000, I believe it started with Reagan, and we've got to end the deception and hypnotic spinning of this Administration and Republican Party!
"But how can we do THAT, Ruthie?" you may be asking. Write a letter to your editor. Get on a blog where you can voice your views that a million plus people will read. WEAR KERRY PINS and ANTI-BUSH paraphanalia wherever you go. Strike up conversations with people in line who laugh at your funny shirt or smile at your Kerry button. You may have Bushies in the same line who overhear your intelligent conversation on how the Dubbya crowd twists and spins the facts to dupe the American people. GET VISIBLE!
We have less than a month less to get Kerry elected - SHOW YOUR SUPPORT!
Let's get out there and get our fellow Democrats to vote - that's the most important thing. If you're not used to talking to people of different cultures, get over your issues and ask them if they're registered, and whether they're going to vote on November 2nd. You'd be surprised to find out how many people are genuinely touched by your concern for our democratic process.
You all know me - I talk to EVERYBODY! I get smiles, some frowns, but mostly a "damn right I'm voting!" And I see that as only a good thing.
Get VOCAL and get VISIBLE!
