The only polls that count are the exit polls!
Hey - have been away, but still plugging out there for Kerry.
I have stayed away from Kerry website blogs; needed a breather from all the speculation, and such. I feel that we should be OUT THERE doing something, rather than sitting at computer screens. Oh, yeah, that's what I'm doing now, but here are some tips for us Kerry supporters to get the word out:
Wear a Kerry pin or sticker on clothing, backpack, etc... EVERY TIME you leave your house. Visuals may spark curiosity, which may create a conversation in which we can explain why we support Kerry, etc...
Add the Kerry website URL to your email "signature." Folks who may not support him may finally just click on the site to check it out.
GO TO MEETUPS! Be active - come up with ideas, let staffers know what's bothering you, and speak up for Kerry!
Pass out flyers at your local mass transit area or your favorite coffee shop. Check with store owners, but I'm pretty sure that as long as you're not ON proprietor property, the sidewalk is yours!
Put up Kerry signs in your apartment or house windows - the ones facing the street, parking lot, and haunts of peeping toms. I have passed out a lot to fellow apartment dwellers. They're cool!
Volunteer at your local Kerry Headquarters. I'm sure they could use the help!
Talk about Kerry to everyone you know. Get the message out!
